Extreme cutness!

I just adore my niece and nephew! They crack me up every single time we’re together, so full of joy and love! This layout is based off of a conversation we had on the drive home one day.
The journaling reads: I’ve recently started bringing Ry and May home from school. If they both had a good day at school they get to go to Starbucks and choose a treat. Today they both got mini-doughnuts and chocolate milk. While driving home Riley said, “Auntie before we eat our doughnuts lets take a picture with them because they’re so cute!” He just melts my heart!

Also check out the CREATE blog for a feature on my craft room! I’m so excited and honored to be featured on there today!

8 years of bliss

My favorite time to scrapbook an event is right after it happens. It seems if I wait too long another fun memory comes along and takes priority. So I’ve been trying to do at least one layout for the important stuff right way while the memories are still fresh. And no this does not mean I’m “caught up” on capturing all the moments I want to remember. Is there even such a thing in scrapbooking?!?!
For this layout I used the new Everyday Eclectic from Echo Park. I’m obsessed with this line! All the goodness of Hambly into colorful patterned paper…yes please!
One thing I’m also loving right now is embossing. It truly adds so much more then just stamping an image.
Hope your week’s off to a great start!!!

Our Palm Springs getaway

This week (as mentioned in a previous post) was our 8year wedding anniversary. This year I surprised Jeff with a quick getaway to Palm Springs! It’s the perfect spot for just relaxing and enjoying each others company.
We stayed at the Viceroy which was perfect for a couples getaway. It’s very contemporary and easy on the eyes.

We slept in until 11am, walked around in the heat, swam in the rain and ate at my favorite restaurant.

The most wonderful few days with my forever!

New Item Thursday

Hope every one’s having a great week!
I sure am 🙂 we just got back from

Yep you guessed it Palm Springs! (I’ll share more about our trip tomorrow)
I created this album out of necessity (for me) and decided to create more to sell because it seems so many people I know have been going there lately. More custom locations coming soon!

8 years

Eight years ago today I was waking up at 4am to get ready for my wedding. Sleeping on the couch at my moms house so I didn’t disturb anyone else when I had to leave for hair and makeup. Having my best friend call to make sure I didn’t sleep through my alarm. Waiting in anticipation for the moment I get to walk down the isle and see my love. It was one of the most wonderful and surreal days.

I had no idea the craziness these eight years would hold. We have been through so much and I am thankful for him everyday. He is my rock, supporter and biggest fan. Without him life would not be complete. Jeff thank you for being so amazing…I love you with all my heart!

Park City album…finished!

I feels so good to have finished this album! Usually I get board half way through a project and never finish it.
Each day is divided with a divider labeled with the day and the places we visited.

After the divider I typed all the fun things we did that day
I added a few bags to hold little mementos from the day
Between the dividers are all the pictures from the day along with little funny memories
I just glued the photos back to back to save space.
A super easy and quick way to document a wonderful trip! Thanks for looking!
