Meet Allegra!

This is my friend Allegra. She is one of the most positive, kind people I have ever met. She is also an amazing singer/song writer! Last Friday was her album release show. She rocked it! You can find her here –
I have been listening to it all weekend!
Keep an eye out, she’s kinda a big deal 🙂

Sleepy day

On this wonderful rainy day I am SO SO SO tired! Like fall asleep on your dinner plate tired. Last night I stayed up way too late working on my Project Life. Now I’m paying for it. But I’m resisting to take a nap. So far today I’ve gone to work, bought these pink pants to go with my rain boots (BTW check out Old Navy’s jean deal!)

and I’ve been wandering around my yard taking pics of the rain.
Also working on Project life some more. I love the rain!
All to try and avoid a nap, because I know if I lay down I won’t wake up until the morning.

Blingy bling bling

Hope everyone had a good weekend! After having the previous 2 Mondays off it’s hard to think about going back to work already. I think every weekend should be a 3 day weekend. Ahhh to dream 🙂

My BFF is getting married! I’m so excited for them! I have known her since we were 5 so shes basically a sister to me. Last month was their engagement party. It was super fun! The theme was winter wonderland with a lot of sparkle. When I sat down to scrapbook this pic of the bride and our good friend Monica I knew it had to be very sparkly.

There will never be enough sparkle in my life!
Happy scrapping!

New items now available!

Today I was finally able to add some of the new designs to the shop! These are all 6″X8″ it’s my favortie size to work with right now.

I have tickets to 7 concerts over the course of this year so I can’t wait to add the pics and ticket stubs to this album!

I love the wood grain on this journal so I left it natural. It should darken as it ages and take on a beautiful tone.
Happy Thursday!

Valentine’s day

So I thought I had set up this post to automatically post on Wednesday but I came on her and nope. All I did was save it. So here it is some pics of the ‘valentne expostion’ I had mentioned in the last post.

The banner I made to hang over our bed. I also put some heart balloons in there.

This is our fort. Now I totally remember why I loved forts as a kid. It’s so cozy! We ate our pizza and enjoyed our fondue in our fort. It was right next to the fireplace so we stayed warm while watching our fave show, The Big Bang Theory.

I printed out my favorite pictures of us from the whole time we’ve been together and used them to decorate the house with. It was fun looking at them and reminiscing about the last 10 years.

The living room.

Heart shaped BBQ pizza. So yummy!!!

This was the first time I made chocolate fondue at home and let me tell you it was SO delicious.

I think I’m leaving the fort up for a while 🙂 I hope everyone had a wonderful Vday!
Happy Scrapping!

Hearts and more hearts

With Valentines day just around the corner I thought I’d share some heart projects I’ve made. I haven’t really put very many decorations up yet. My plan is to do it on Tuesday so when Jeff gets home it’s like a valentine explosion! So shhh don’t tell him!

I’ll be back Wednesday with some pics of the said ‘exposion’
Happy crafting!

I’ve still got…

the spirit of Christmas in me. Yes, every decoration is still up and I’m still listening to a little Christmas music. After being at Disneyland yesterday (which is still decorated for Christmas!) I was inspired to do a post showing some of our decor. So here you go, a peek of Christmas at our house:

When I’m putting everything up it doesnt seem like much but the thought of boxing it all back up is a little overwhelming. That’s my task for saturday while I watch the first of the playoff games. Yay for football!
