I ♥ Picnik

Lately I have been spending most of my free time playing around on Picnik. It’s my favorite way to edit pictures. It’s so user friendly and you have SO much freedom in customizing your photos. I can get them just the way I want them. The only downside is it can be slow at times (my computer might also play a factor in that). Here is a photo I took on our trip. It’s a view of Main Street in Park City, UT. As we speak it is being printed out and blown up. Can’t wait to see how it looks in our hallway!

I added the hearts because I just love it there ☺

I ♥ Tea

Yesterday I had a Cupcake Par-Tea at my house. There was no occasion. One day I was watching reruns of The Office, it was the one when Toby, Pam and Oscar talked about the “Finer Things Club”. They were having tea so I thought to my-self “I should have a tea party”. From there it became like a hobby. Shopping all over town going to thrift and antique shops collecting all the pieces. Finally it came altogether. We had a blast and I am obsessed with tea. My fave is ginger peach…yum!

I can’t wait to do it again for Mother’s Day!!!

I ♥ snow

Last week was so much fun! Jeff and I haven’t been on a vacation just us two since our honeymoon (almost six years ago). It was so relaxing. We enjoyed the falling snow every single day. It was the best! If Jeff said lets move there I would in a heart beat. We spent a lot of time looking at houses and dreaming of our ‘someday’ house. My dream is to build a big house so at Christmas all our family could come stay with us and finally have a white Christmas. One day…

For now we just played in the snow like children (well mainly me, Jeff just took pictures of me being silly). Since we don’t get to spend a ton of time together in our ‘real life’ I was a little nervous that we might get tired of each other. Not the case at all. If anything it makes me miss him even more when we’re apart now.
I ♥ him! Ok on to the photos…

Dad you are the best thank you so much for our trip!!! We love you ♥

P.S. You are going to be seeing those cute little hearts all the time. My mom just told me who to do them (I know, I know how could I have not known that) Love you mom!

P.S.S Paige we went to Cafe Rio twice…it was amazing! I might be driving up to Pasadena just to go there ☺

getting ready

In honor of our upcoming trip I thought I would scarp a layout of my sister and I in Park City. This weeks challenge was to design your own background paper. First I stamped on white paper with clear embossing ink. Then embossed it with clear embossing powder. Once it was cool I sprayed the whole paper with glimmer mist. Making sure to saturate it very well.

I hope everyone has a great week and I’ll post some pictures when we get back!

Happy Thursday!

Today I am feeling very excited and accomplished. Cleaning the house, finally doing some things that have been on my house to do list since we moved in, and I found my fave stamp I have been missing for like two years! Plus my new rain boots arrived via my fave brown truck. Love them! Now it just needs to rain (or snow). Plus tomorrow is FRIDAY…this is the most exciting thing about today! Every year I look forward to spring break but this year, well I have been ready since we got back from Christmas break.

Today is also CHALLENGE DAY! This week it’s my turn. So here’s the challenge: design your own background paper. Use stamps, paint, rub-ons, whatever you feel like! Can’t wait to see how they turn out!

P.S. Its not a good idea to put stamps in a shoe box in a closet. They are easy to loose this way 🙂

Tuesday, tuesday

Other than the bug flying in my eye today (it was so disgusting) this week has been off to a great start! I think it helps that I know just one week left before spring break. Knowing a paid vacation is on it’s way would help anyone get through the day! Here is another layout I did this weekend. I figured since I had to miss my nephews birthday I might as well scrapbook about him (honestly I probably had more fun making this layout then I would have had at Chuck E Cheese).

Have a good one!

Challenge time

Here is my take on Ann-Maire’s challenge. It was to make a love list. These are just a few of the things I’m loving right now. I chose not to do the obvious like my husband and family. I wanted it to be the random things I am obsessing over right now.

Sick day scrapbooking

Today I was in the mood to scrapbook but not any particular project. So what I did was challenge myself to use a photo from the first pack of photos I picked up. It happened to have a bunch of old photos in it. I love when layouts just come together without any pre-planning. Just going with the flow.

Scrapbooking always makes me feel better 🙂

Sicky poo :(

Working at the germ factory (aka preschool) has struck again. This is the second weekend in a row I have been sick. Booooo!

Hopefully I can finish my weekly challenge layout over the weekend. I hope everyone has a great one!

Happy St. Patrick day

I hope everyone had a great day in green. I know I did!

This song has been stuck in my head for seriously a week. Everyone at work keeps asking what I’m singing. So here you go…this is the song that wont leave my head. Enjoy!
