Instagram

So I finally joined the rest of the world and got an iphone. Yes I know I may be the last one 🙂 and I’m so happy I did! My favorite things are the pintrest app and Instagram. This weekend I was even able to pin while tanning…amazing!
My little side kick joined me while I worked on my vitamin D

Vacation mini

This weekend I had a little bit of free time so I decided to get started on my (not so mini) mini album from out trip. It’s one of those things…either do it now or get back to it five years from now. I’ve chosen to go with a day by day format. Below is a sneak of the dividers for each day.
This is the stack of photos…a little huge. I might need to go buy bigger binder rings 🙂
Have a happy Monday!

Home Sweet Home

Over spring break my love and I took our annual trip to my favorite place, Park City! We had such a good time I never wanted to come back. Despite the lack of snow it was still amazing! Every time I go there I feel like I’m home. Hopefully one day I will call it home (or at least have my own vacation house there).

Friday was the only day it snowed while we were there so we had to take advantage while we could.
I have been there so many times and just discovered these shoe trees! Apparently it was an old miners tradition to throw their shoes in a tree when they got engaged. Next time I’m bringing some shoes to throw in there 🙂
We got to eat at one of my fave restaurants. So yummy!!!
Cute dog just off main street

Since there wasn’t much snow we got to do things we normally don’t like hike at Bridal Veil Falls.
On the way home we drove thru Bryce and Zion. Always such a pretty drive.
One of my favorite things is how you can see the layers of earth. So amazing!

Each year it gets harder and harder to come back. However I am very thankful to live in an amazing city close to the beach.
Did anyone else get to do something exciting over spring break?

Checking in

My days lately have been like this – wake up, rush off to work, get lunch, head to job #2, come home, eat a late dinner, and catch up on recorded episodes of Burn Notice. Have you seen Burn Notice? I love it! Typically I despise any type of shoot-um-up shows or movies but this ones different. It’s smart, funny, and Jeffrey Donovan is hot! Plus the good guys always win which is why I think I love it so much.

Needles to say working  12 hours a day and spending my whined down time watching TV makes it hard to work on scrappy things. Despite that I’ve been keeping up with pictures for my Project Life. Things should slow down a little soon so I can get caught up on blogging its progress.

Have a good week!!!

Balance

My One little word for 2012 is Balance. One day a few weeks ago while shopping for deals at TJ Max I came across a journal that said “If you strive for Balance you will find Harmony”. Like a maniac I started freaking out. What are the chances of randomly stumbling across something that exactly portrays what you want from your word?!?! I knew I wanted to make something to hang in my house as a daily reminder so I made this canvas.

Mint is my obsession right now. I want to create a room around this color scheme.
Enjoy your weekend!

Meet Allegra!

This is my friend Allegra. She is one of the most positive, kind people I have ever met. She is also an amazing singer/song writer! Last Friday was her album release show. She rocked it! You can find her here –
I have been listening to it all weekend!
Keep an eye out, she’s kinda a big deal 🙂

Project Life * Weeks 3 & 4 *

Whoa this year is on the move! March already?!?! Holy cow! I’m getting caught up on blogging project life.
Here’s week three

I love the Martha Stewart page protectors from Staples. They are perfect to add extra pics and such.
Week 4 – It ended up to be quite a sad week. One of the moms of a previous student of mine passed away from breast cancer. It was an amazing service, she will be missed by many.

Look how sweet Poncho is sleeping on his food plate. He melts my heart!

Have a wonderful week!

Sleepy day

On this wonderful rainy day I am SO SO SO tired! Like fall asleep on your dinner plate tired. Last night I stayed up way too late working on my Project Life. Now I’m paying for it. But I’m resisting to take a nap. So far today I’ve gone to work, bought these pink pants to go with my rain boots (BTW check out Old Navy’s jean deal!)

and I’ve been wandering around my yard taking pics of the rain.
Also working on Project life some more. I love the rain!
All to try and avoid a nap, because I know if I lay down I won’t wake up until the morning.

Blingy bling bling

Hope everyone had a good weekend! After having the previous 2 Mondays off it’s hard to think about going back to work already. I think every weekend should be a 3 day weekend. Ahhh to dream 🙂

My BFF is getting married! I’m so excited for them! I have known her since we were 5 so shes basically a sister to me. Last month was their engagement party. It was super fun! The theme was winter wonderland with a lot of sparkle. When I sat down to scrapbook this pic of the bride and our good friend Monica I knew it had to be very sparkly.

There will never be enough sparkle in my life!
Happy scrapping!
