Football is back!

Oh thank goodness! What a long time since the super bowl…OK OK time did go by pretty fast but still I missed it. This is going to be a pretty exciting year. And my most favorite thing of all is the Brett is back! Yes it’s weird to see him in purple but all that matters is he’s with us for another year 🙂

Luckily I have had some time lately to get in some crafty projects. I will get you some pics soon. Today it is raining and super cloudy (which I’m loving) so not the best time to take pics. OK time to get back to the game!

Day 4 of being sick

This whole strep throat thing is making me crazy! I can’t eat anything, can barley drink anything, and I haven’t been able to leave the house since Wednesday. And the worst part is I don’t even have the energy to scrap. There’s my scrap room just sitting waiting for me…felling so neglected. It’s hard enough just sitting here right now. I hope this ends soon!

Extreme awesomeness!

Ok if you are like me and you like to edit your photos but photoshop is too much of a pain…you have to check this out! It’s called Picnik and it has SO many features. I can’t wait to play with it and finally edit my photos like I have been trying to. Ahhh I’m in love!

It feels like Christmas!

Oh my goodness this is one of my favorite times of the year…CHA summer! All the companies are coming out with their new lines of product and my mind is swirling with ideas and ways to use them. I can’t wait to get my hands on these goodies! From Hambly

And from Pink Paislee

Also check out Basic Grey

My mind is officially on overload! Check out their sites for more goodness…enjoy!

Happy Anniversary My Love!

Wow…I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we got married! The time has flown by SO fast I just don’t even know where it went. Here are my top 5 favorite moments with you:

1. When you proposed in Catalina. You were so cute and nervous. You said the sweetest things to me and made my heart melt!

2. Our first date…I remember it so well and I don’t think I have been more nervous for anything in my whole life! You were so sweet and such a gentleman.

3. Our Honeymoon…It was so fun to explore Kauai.

4. Last summer sitting in our boat in the rain watching the lightning.

5. How you always brought me coffee and flowers at school. And how on my 18th birthday you stayed up all night cutting letters out of roes petals to spell out the 18 things you liked about me. So romantic!!!

There are SO many more memories I can list! Jeff you are such a wonderful husband and I am so very blessed to have you. I love you with all my heart, happy anniversary!

Check it out!

So I have finally added a few things to my Etsy shop. Please check it out and spread the word! Also I am working a something super exciting…check back soon for the announcement! (ohh I feel like such a tease)

Sneak peak

These last few weeks I have been working on getting a scrapbook business started. It is so exciting! For now I will be selling my things on Etsy but have bigger plans for the future! Here are a few sneak peaks of what will be in my shop.

My shop will consist of cards, mini albums, planners, and other paper crafting things. I also might include some other things that I make. This week I am going to be finishing up projects and will get everything posted. Check back soon for more sneak peaks!

I love holidays!!!

Ahhh 4th of July…what a wonderful day! Holidays are the best. I love spending time with friends and family especially when I get to have parties. This year we just stayed home and had a small little pool party. Here are some pictures:

My cutie little sugarplum. He loved his hat!

So here is my crazy husband. Yes people he set up his 11 foot scaffolding next to our pool to jump off of. Give a man some tools and he turns them into toys!

Danielle and I swimming. It appears that Jeff is practicing his karate moves in the back ground.

Connor-man! My not-so-little brother…he’s like 6’2″!

I hope everyone had a great 4th and a great week. Check back soon for some layouts. I’ve been in a funk the past couple of weeks but getting back in the grove. I will post my challenge pages too. Tell next time enjoy life!

Back in comission…

Phew…what a pain! Last week our computer crashed. Like totally dead trying to talk to me in computer language. We thought everything was gone…pictures, work files, everything! We were freaking out thinking of all the things we lost. Then I got this overwhelming sense of calm and thought you know it was just our computer files, what if it had been our house! So that helped put things into perspective and we moved on. Luckily the wonderful computer guy was able to save ALL our files! So thankful and happy…whooohooo!!!! Hence the absence from blogland. So the moral of the story ALWAYS back your stuff up!

So I will get a picture up within the next couple of days for Gen’s challenge. This week it’s my turn so here it is: Scrapbook a difficult time in your life. You don’t have to have pictures or even share the journaling but get those feelings down. Have fun!
